Chris Hegemann 1962-2025

Christine Louise “Chris” Hegemann, 62, Hoyt, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her home.

She was born Dec. 21, 1962, at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville, Ill., the daughter of Robert H. “Sarge” and Jacque L. Roediger Hegemann. She graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1981.

Ms. Hegemann worked in the medical records department at the VA Hospital in Topeka for many years.

Survivors include her mother, Jacque Hegemann, Hoyt; a daughter, Cassidy N. Howland, Lawrence; and three brothers, Steve Hegemann and wife Linda and David Hegemann and wife Penny, all of Mayetta, and Joe Hegemann and wife Carol, Hoyt.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 26 at Hoyt United Methodist Church. Inurnment will follow in Mayetta Cemetery.
