Charles M. “Butch” Nauheim, 72, Meriden, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at his home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1949, at Holton, the son of John Milton and Marguerite Mercer Nauheim.
Mr. Nauheim owned and operated Kansas Fire and Safety Equipment for 46 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rose Marie Vobach.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Nauheim, Portland, Ore., and Brett Nauheim, Lawrence; a daughter, Amy Schmidtlein and husband Kenny, Topeka; a sister, Beth Kaye Bosch, Topeka; and four grandsons, Wells, Owen, Charley and Carter Nauheim.
Cremation is planned. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 23 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Private burial will be held later in Hoyt Cemetery.
