Carol Keehn 1950-2026

Carol Marie Humbolt Keehn, 75, Holton, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at her home.

She was born May 30, 1950, in Valley Center, the daughter of Carl D. and Frances Dennet Humbolt. She attended Valley Center High School and was a student at Longstreet Art School in Wichita.

Mrs. Keehn moved to Holton in the 1980s and lived in the community until her death.

She married Theodore “Ted” W. Keehn in 1977 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died Sept. 11, 2008.

Survivors include her children, Troy Keehn and wife Kim, Perry, Maine, Neil Berens, Haysville, and Stuart Fossey, formerly of Mulvane; four grandchildren, Erin, Hunter, Arden and Adalei; and Ted’s adult children and their children and grandchildren.

Family graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 in Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
