Carla Clark 1967-2025

Carla Diane Clark, 58, Mayetta, died Friday, June 27, 2025, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was born June 15, 1967, in Holton, the daughter of Phillip E. and Sharon J. Fowler Clark. She graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1986 and from Kaw Area Tech in 1995, earning her LPN degree.

Miss Clark worked at VA Hospital in Topeka until she medically retired.

Survivors include her father, Phillip Clark, Mayetta; two daughters, Kristina Strawn and husband Justin, Mayetta, and Katherine Jones, Wheaton; a son, Karsin Clark, Mayetta; a sister, Gina Tessendorf and husband Larry, Circleville; two brothers, Terry Clark and wife Nikki, Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Tracy Clark and wife Mandi, Topeka; and five grandchildren, Landen, Zandler, Gunner, Emit and Oakley.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon J. Clark.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 7 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment will follow at Holton Cemetery.
