Benjamin Smith 1977-2023

Benjamin Hayden Smith, 46, of Lenexa, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at his home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1977, in Emporia, the son of Terry Lynn Smith and Kathi Jo (Timbrook) Noe.

Benjamin graduated from Wetmore High School in 1995. He worked in maintenance for Price Brothers HVAC in Lenexa. He lived 10 years in Lenexa and three years in the Olathe communities after leaving the Wetmore area in his early thirties.

Survivors include his mother, Kathi Jo Noe (Wesley) of Wetmore; his father, Terry L. Smith (Carole) of Lake Ozark, Mo.; four sisters, Andrea Lagos (Ronald) and Analyssa Noe, both of Wetmore, Amelia Noe of Birmingham, Ala., and Alayna Wamsley (Levi) of Manhattan; and two brothers, Jay K. Smith (Kay) of Wetmore and Shane M. Smith (Earlene) of Bailey, Colo.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends until 12:30 p.m. after the service.
