Anita Schafer 1950-2024

Anita Beth Schafer, 74, of Elkhorn, Neb., died Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Jessica Schafer; daughter and son-in-law, Elisabeth and Ross Edwards; and daughter, Joanna Schafer; and four grandchildren, Elias, Jensyn, Mae and Cohen.
We bid farewell to a beloved mother and a cherished child of God. Her life, though not measured in wealth or riches, was an abundance of love, faith and generosity. In the quiet moments of her life, she found solace in her faith. Her unwavering belief in the power of prayer and her role as a compassionate listener, always offering a kind ear to everyone, was a source of comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this time of sorrow, we find joy in knowing that she is now in a much better place where she has received her heavenly body and can now walk freely. A place where she is reunited with her husband and many other loved ones who have gone on before us. As we say our final “see you soon,” let us take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the love and kindness she shared with us all. She has found the ultimate peace and rest in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
