Brent Masters 1953-2024

Brent William Masters, 70, formerly of Holton, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, surrounded by family.

He was born Aug. 31, 1953, at California Hospital in Los Angeles, Calif., the son of William “Bill” Harvey Masters and Lois Patricia Westcott Masters. He graduated from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, Calif.

He married Corinna Romero on Feb. 19, 1994. She survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Clayton “Clay” Thomas Masters; a nephew, Christopher “Chris” Collins; and a son, Brenton Corey Masters. 

Other survivors include a son, Vincent Tyler Masters and wife Brittany; four daughters, Reigna Renbarger and husband Wes, Crystal Deckinger and husband Caleb, Darlene Link-Sipe and husband Lance and Brittany Dail-Masters and husband Josh; six grandsons, Ashton, Bryson, Parson, Jaxon, Grayson and Chase; nine granddaughters, Atalie, Kyla, Emilee, Savannah, Averie, Charlotte, Kaylani, Raelynn and one on the way; three sisters-in-law Rosemary Masters and husband Clay, Connie Montalvo and husband Rudy and Toni Ibarra and husband Philip; a brother-in-law, Johnny Romero Jr. and wife Tonya; in-laws, Johnny Sr. and Victoria Romero and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time.
