Lea Dudoit 1960-2024
Lea Ella Dudoit, 63, Horton, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at her home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1960, in Holton, the daughter of Thomas Joseph Walker and Celia Mae Kahbeah Goslin. She attended school in Powhattan and in Oregon and later earned her GED.
Ms. Dudoit lived and started her family in Maui, Hawaii. She worked as a cook.
She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include her mother, Celia M. Goslin, Horton; a son, Levi Dudoit and wife Autumn, Holton; two daughters, Racheal Dudoit, Kickapoo Reservation, and Heather Vaughn, Talihina, Okla.; two brothers, Michael Goslin and wife Doreen, Maui, Hawaii, and Daniel Kahbeah, Reserve; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Walker; and a brother, Richmond Walker.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Ms. Dudoit requested to have her ashes returned to Maui. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
