Novena F. Newman, 92, Holton, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, at her rural Holton home.
She was born Aug. 2, 1931, at Valley Falls, the daughter of Charles and Fannie Gutzman Heller. She graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1948.
Ms. Newman was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton and the Altar Society at the church.
Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl Karns and Deborah Kelly, both of Holton, Brenda Votto, Southport, Conn., and Mariann Jarboe, Council Grove; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
