Emily Berryhill 1962-2022

Emeline “Emily” (Russell) Berryhill, 60, of Circleville, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at her home.

She was born Aug. 19, 1962, in Oakland, Calif., the daughter of Asa and Josephine (Clark) Russell. 

She graduated from Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, Calif. She worked at Prairie Band Casino and Resort for 15 years and most recently at One Stop Gas Station. 

Emily was a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Arizona. 

Emily married Larry “Mik-se-ni” Berryhill; he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2012. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Marlene Russell, Peggy Gilson and Kathy Garcia; and a brother, Kenneth Russell.

Survivors include two daughters, Josette Berryhill of Circleville and Justine Wakole (Wishkno) of Mayetta; a brother, Willis Russell, in California; and three grandchildren, Lili, Eli and Kyson.
