Yvonne Chamness 1963-2022

Yvonne Renee Chamness, 58, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Booher and Verla Cutsforth.

Yvonne was born Oct. 20, 1963, and raised in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Savannah Chamness, Adrian Yin and Aaliyah Yin. She is also survived by her sister, Patty Cutsforth (Paul), and a multitude of nephews and nieces.

In 2014, Yvonne moved to Holton to start a new life with her husband, Nhak “Rick” Yin, who loved her unconditionally for 22 years. He took care of her in sickness and in health and gave her anything she desired. There she raised her two youngest children and constantly communicated with her other children who lived in Milwaukee.

Despite all the storms of life, Yvonne loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She always wanted more for them than what she had growing up. Memories of having Christmas for her children whether it was big or small, and video calls with her granddaughter, Mai Ly Rose. Her sense of humor, her sharp attitude and her restless spirit will always be remembered.

Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

A POEM FOR YOU
MY DARLIN GERMAN WIFE
You are my wife,
You are part of my life.
Without you, I am so weak,
I can no longer speak.
My heart is broken in two.
You are the only one that can complete my heart,
I knew this from the start.I never want us to part.
I love you more and more each day,
So I pray for you to stay.
Please don’t go my German wife.
I need you for the rest of my life.
