Richard Armstrong 1951-2022

Richard “Dickie” A. Armstrong, 70, Mayetta, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022.

He was born Dec. 19, 1951, in Great Bend, the son of Richard and Rose (Fuller) Armstrong. He graduated from Onaga High School in 1970.

Mr. Armstrong was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

Survivors include a son, Josh Armstrong, Seattle, Wash.; and a sister, Marty Matzke, Wheaton. He was preceded in death by his parents; an older brother, Roderick Armstrong, Onaga; and a younger sister, Mechelle Armstrong, Dallas, Texas.
