Daylight Saving Time to begin Sunday

Daylight Saving Time will begin at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 8. Don’t forget to set your clocks forward an hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Daylight Saving Time is observed everywhere in the United States except Arizona, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rice and the Virgin Islands.

Fire department personnel also encourage people to install new batteries in their smoke detectors when they change their clocks for Daylight Saving Time.
