Scheids to celebrate 74th anniversary

Lloyd and Frances Marie Scheid of Holton will celebrate 74 years of marriage on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Lloyd Scheid and Frances Marie Marriott were married on Sept. 10, 1943, at Jefferson City, Mo. They lived south of Whiting on the farm until May 1985, when they moved to Holton.
They have a son, Russel; a granddaughter, Jerica Gallardo; and two great-grandsons, Jaren and Jaylen. They also had a daughter, who died shortly after birth.
