Glenda "Kay" Barber 1943-2017
Glenda “Kay” Barber, 74, Horton, died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Mission Village Living Center in Horton.
She was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Holton, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred McBroom Baldwin.
Mrs. Barber worked as a CNA at the Tri-County Manor, Jackson County Nursing Home, Gran Villas in Holton and Hiawatha before retiring in 2006.
She attended the United Methodist Church in Holton.
She married Willis Barber in Topeka. He died April 1, 2007.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Webster and husband Dan, Horton; a sister, Clara Marie Kern, Topeka; five grandchildren, Ariel Webster, Makayla Webster, Nicole Molina, Nathan Molina and Zach Molina; an aunt, JoAnn Dittemore, Kansas City, Mo.; and a cousin, Karra Magnett, Lillis.
Family will greet friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, then go in procession to Muscotah Cemetery for a graveside service.
