Walter Delge Jr. 1947-2017
Walter B. Delge Jr., 69, Topeka, died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka.
He was born May 27, 1947, in Topeka, the son of Walter B. Delge Sr. and Lucille Mahkuk Delge. He graduated from Lecompton High School and attended Haskell Institute Vocational Department.
Mr. Delge was a union laborer.
He was a member of the Prairie Band Pottawatomi Nation.
Survivors include his siblings, Betty Rice and Margaret Mahkuk, both of Mayetta, Pat Mahkuk, Topeka, Eilleen Delge, Lecompton, Denny Delgadillo, Mayetta, Ione Childers, Perry, and Marilyn Delgadillo, Yvonne Tunstall and Renee Merritt, all of Lecompton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ilona Delgadillo; and a brother, Mike Delge.
Mr. Delge was cremated. Private interment of cremains was scheduled in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lecompton. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel of Topeka is in charge of arrangements.
