Geneva Tosh 1935-2017
Geneva Tosh, 81, Holton, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017.
She was born Sept. 17, 1935, in Mayetta, the daughter of Homer and Celia Millenbruch Burget. She graduated from Effingham High School in 1954.
Mrs. Tosh was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mayetta.
She married Harold Tosh on Feb. 12, 1956, at Coal Creek Church. He died in 2016. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George “Leroy” Burget.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley VanDonge and husband Danny, Havensville; a son, Harold Thomas Tosh, Holton; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Melvin E. Burget, Topeka.
Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Holton. Private family inurnment will be held in Holton Cemetery.
