Stacey Pipkins 1965-2017
Stacey Lynn Pipkins, 51, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Dec. 20, 1965, in Topeka, the daughter of Gerald Charles Haag and Mary Lou (Slocum) Haag. She graduated from Seaman High School in 1984. She had lived in Kansas City, Mo., for 12 1/2 years and previously in Las Vegas, California and Indiana.
Stacey worked for more than 30 years in banking. She began as a teller and later served as assistant manager and branch manager. Stacey had a kind and loving heart, a great sense of humor and held a special place in her heart for animals.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Link of St. Joseph, Mo.; her brother, Charlie Haag of Topeka; her stepmother, Mary Ann Haag of Topeka; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
