B.J. Forgy 1955-2016

 

Norman Forgy, of Havensville, better known by his stage name of “B.J.,” was called to sing in Heaven’s Choir at 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.

Born Oct. 27, 1955, to George and Georgia Forgy of Centralia, Norman is survived by two sons, Jessie Forgy, Topeka, and Jason Forgy Sr., Netawaka; a daughter, Jessica Campbell, Rossville; five grandsons, Jayden, Tristan, Jason Jr., Maximus and Rylan Bo; and a granddaughter, Analicia. His sur­viving siblings are Lonnie Forgy, Onaga, Cena Iverson, Lee’s Sum­mit, Mo., and Linda Swanson, Vir­ginia Beach, Va.

The family will meet with friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sat­urday, Dec. 17 at the Havensville Community Center, 901 Commer­cial St. Havensville, KS 66432. Private burial will be held a later date at Centralia Cemetary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family to help defray expenses, sent in care of Ja­son and Jamie Forgy, 325 White Way, Netawaka, KS 66516.
