Recorder's Pick'em Contest begins Monday

The Holton Recorder’s Pigskin Pick’em Contest is coming back starting Monday.

With a total of 19 high school, college and professional football games to pick winners for every week, sports fans have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, earn prizes and obtain regional bragging rights by attempting to correctly pick the winners of each game.

The contestants with the two highest scoring entries each week will receive a prize, valued at $25 a piece, from participating businesses.

Contestants are also asked to pick the combined score of the week’s tie-breaker game in case it is needed to determine a winner.

The grand prize for the overall winner of the contest will be $100 cash and one-year subscription to The Holton Recorder.

Entry forms must be delivered to The Holton Recorder office by 5 p.m. each Friday to be considered eligible.

Mailed weekly entries must be postmarked by 5 p.m. Friday to be considered eligible.
