Area schools preparing to dismiss for summer

Area students will be dismissed from school for summer break soon.
The last day of classes for students at Jackson Heights is Thursday, May 19. All students will be dismissed at 1 p.m.
Royal Valley students will also start their summer vacation on Thursday, May 19, when they are released from school at 11 a.m. that day.
Thursday is also the last day of school for all students who attend schools in Prairie Hills USD 113.
Due to the need to begin demolition of Colorado Elementary School, both Central and Colorado Elementary Schools will finish the school year on Friday, May 20, after a full day of classes.
The last day of school for students at Holton Middle School and Holton High School is Wednesday, May 25.
