Clifford Park 1935-2016
Clifford Charles Park, 80, McLouth, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center in Tonganoxie.
He was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Manhattan, the son of Clifford Thurston and Florence Fortner Park.
Mr. Park served 15 years in the Army National Guard and worked 20 years as a heavy equipment construction mechanic.
He married Lois Kathryn Flemming on April 22, 1955, in Manhattan. She survives.
Other survivors include six sons, Daniel Park, Sterling, Colo., Richard Park, Holton, Jerry Park, Kenneth Park, San Antonio, Texas, Tommy Park and Marvin Lee Park, Wichita; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Park; and a granddaughter, Cody Dawn Park.
Mr. Park was cremated. No public services are planned at this time. Barnett Family Funeral Home of Oskaloosa is in charge of arrangements.
