Glenn Peterson 1925-2016
Glenn Irving Peterson, 90, Whiting, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Mission Valley Nursing Center in Horton.
He was born April 12, 1925, in Whiting, the son of Irving and Grace Dykeman Peterson.
Mr. Peterson was a farmer.
He married Mary Belle Oaks on Aug. 22, 1948, in Everest. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Ron Peterson and wife Joyce, Hoyt; a sister, Dorthea Peterson, Horton; three grandchildren, Jeremy Kennedy and wife Helen, Ryan Peterson and wife Tricia and Drew Peterson and wife Chelsye; and three great-grandchildren, Rhett Kennedy, Makenzie Kennedy and Penny Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kathy Sue Kennedy; and a sister, Bernice Peterson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, where the family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be held in Springhill Cemetery, Whiting.
