Hall of Fame tickets still available

Tickets are still available for the 11th-annual Holton/Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame banquet, set for Thursday, Feb. 4 at the Evangel United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

The 2016 Hall of Fame class, including Dianna Wilson, Jan and the late Harold Hodge, Dorothy and the late Joe Rogers and Paula Taylor, will be honored at the annual dinner, it was reported. A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., to be served by the KAYS and the student council at Holton Middle School.

Holton Catering will feature a dinner of USDA fork tender roast beef and garlic smashed potatoes with port wine gravy, young green beans and julienne carrots, assorted bread baskets and winter fruit garden salad with pears and feta cheese, followed by a peach melba puff pastry with almond whipped cream for dessert.

Tickets for the dinner are $30 and may be purchased at the Chamber office or at the main Denison State Bank, The Farmers State Bank and Holton National Bank locations in Holton. The Chamber office is located at 118 E. Fifth Street in Holton inside The Gossip.
