Businesses to welcome trick or treaters Oct. 30
A total of 44 businesses or organizations on or near Holton’s Town Square will be handing out candy to ghosts, goblins and other costumed characters next Friday, Oct. 30, during a special trick or treating event here.
The second annual event is being held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Square after the Central and Colorado Elementary School Halloween parade, which has been set for 2 p.m. that day around the Square.
After the parade, students, along with their parents, can visit designated businesses for free candy. Each participating business will have a sign with an orange pumpkin displayed on a window or door, it was reported.
