Local youth involved in Pottawatomie County accident
Four local youths were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident in Pottawatomie County late Sunday evening, it has been reported.
According to Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat, at 11:17 p.m. that day, Jacob W. Bryan, 19, of rural Havensville was traveling north on Conestoga Road near Daisy Road in rural Louisville when his vehicle left the road for unknown reasons and went off a bridge, dropping 17 feet.
Riat said the vehicle entered a creek and came to rest upside down. There was no water in the creek, it was reported. One of the three passengers in the vehicle was able to get the driver and other passengers out of the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency services.
Bryan and the three passengers, Lasten Kranz, Whiting; Jennifer Hamlin, Holton; and Dakota Ames, Onaga; were all transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
No other details about the accident were made available.
