Fire Department leads the way in fair parade

Holton Fire Department’s “first-out” fire engine was one of many emergency vehicles from police and fire departments in Jackson County that participated in the annual Jackson County Fair Parade, held last Wednesday, July 15, on Holton’s Town Square. The fire engine, which has been part of the HFD fleet since January 2024, was custom-built for the fire department by Rosenbauer Motors of Minnesota. It has a 109-foot aerial ladder and can pump up to 1,500 gallons of water per minute.
