Winners of the Glory Days Car Show announced

The annual Glory Days Car Show was held this past Saturday on the Holton Courthouse lawn. There were a total of 112 total registered entries. The winners of the event were as follows.

Mayor’s Award: Gary McArdle, 1970 Chevelle SS.

Purple Heart Award: Ryan Baker, 2009 Harley Davidson.

Jackson County Commissioners’ Award: John Morrissey, 1966 Chevy Impala.

Sheriff’s Award: Dan Calabro, 1956 Chevy 210 Pickup.

Police Chief’s Award: Ronnie Van Vleck, 1970 Plymouth Cuda.

Fire Chief’s Award: Dean Cozac, 1961 Chevy Impala.

Annual “Door Prize:” Steve Ingels.

Alumni Choice: Doc and Mary Arnold, 1965 Ford Mustang.

Participants’ Choices: Paul and Loretta Coots, 1962 Ford Galaxy; Steve and Teresa McConnell, 1970 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport; and Mark Tibbits, 1966 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport

Ladies’ Choices: Rocky Cox, 1956 Ford Customline Pickup; Jim Roberts, 1955 Chevy; and Bud Mallory, 1955 Chevy two-door.

Public’s Choices:  Steve Ingels, 1964 half-ton truck; Richard Freeman, 1964 Ford Econoline Pickup; and Gene Vaught, 1947 International.

Motorcycle Award: Larry Mumford, 2012 R.J. Bike Spider.
