First half of property taxes due soon

The first half of the 2014 Real Estate and Personal Property taxes must be paid or postmarked by Saturday, Dec. 20, it has been announced. Taxes may also be paid online at the Web site www.kansas.gov/propertytax.

The second half of the taxes is due May 10, 2015. If a taxpayer misses the Dec. 20 deadline, interest will accrue on the delinquent amount. Any personal property taxes not paid by Dec. 20 are due in full.
