Christmas dinner is Friday

The entire community is invited to the annual Community Christmas Dinner this Friday at the EUM Family Life Center.

The dinner, which will feature hearty servings of turkey with all the trimmings, vegetables and desserts, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Life Center, located at Third and Pennsylvania in Holton. It is open to everyone in the community, regardless of age, income, residence or religious affiliation.

Diners may eat at the Family Life Center or grab a take-home meal, it has been reported. Christmas dinner deliveries will also be available; please contact Freda Galer at 364-4160 by 10 a.m. Thursday to place an order.

Monetary donations are still being accepted to help cover costs of the Christmas dinner; contact Francis DeVader at 364-2507 for more information. Free-will donations will also be accepted at the Family Life Center.
