Sewer line improvement work continues

Sewer line improvement work continues near the intersection of Lilac and Magnolia drives in Holton, where a crew from Jadwin Construction and Development of Hiawatha are working to upgrade a 15-inch sewer line to an 18-inch line, as well as adding a 10-inch overflow line that will “allow for better flow,” according to Michael Chase of Jadwin, who noted that the project is expected to take about six weeks. The photo above shows company owner Cory Jadwin (below) checking the sewer line in that area last Thursday, while Chase stood above the excavated area. Jadwin has performed sewer line point repairs and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) work on the city’s sewer lines, most recently last year, Chase said. (Photo by Brian Sanders)
