Chris and Lorilee Thomas of Whiting are happy to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Corey Thomas, to Allison Wallisch, daughter of Cy and Colette Wallisch of Effingham.
The bride-elect recently graduated from Benedictine College. The prospective groom is teaching and coaching at Atchison County Community Schools.
Corey is the grandson of Kenneth and Norma Thomas of Whiting and Ron and Barb Ahlgren of Holton.
Allison is the granddaughter of Jack and Patricia Wallisch of Denison and Robert and Leona Olberding of Seneca.
The couple will be married at 3:30 p.m. on June 23, 2018, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Effingham. A reception will follow at the Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex in Holton.
