Chelsy Lassiter and Jacob Wessel, both of Valley Falls, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the bride are Barry and Teresa Lassiter of Valley Falls. Parents of the groom are Patrick and Lisa Wessel of Valley Falls.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Valley Falls High School and Kansas State University. She is currently employed at Meals on Wheels in Topeka.

The future groom is a graduate of Valley Falls High School and Kansas State University. He is currently employed by Bunge Milling in Atchison.

The couple will wed on May 18, 2019, in Valley Falls. They will honeymoon in the Caribbean.

The couple currently resides south of Valley Falls and are looking to build their dream home on their land.
