Dennis Slimmer, Don Slimmer and Sylvia Murphy are hosting a card shower for their mother, Dorothy M. Slimmer, in celebration of her 95th birthday, which is July 18.
Dorothy lived in Holton for 50 years with her husband, Gordon R. Slimmer, on Topeka Avenue. Cards will reach her at Dorothy M. Slimmer, 2121 Meadowlark Road, Sloan House, Manhattan, KS 66502. Her children will celebrate with a dinner on her birthday.
