William Fitch

William “Bill” Fitch, 72, Placencia, Belize, formerly of Towanda, died Saturday, July 3, 2021.

He was born in St. Paul, Minn., the son of Roland and Lorraine Salsbury Fitch.

Mr. Fitch was a semi truck driver, retiring in 2012. He moved to Belize after his retirement.

He married Mary Jo Doyle on April 7, 1984. She preceded him in death, as did his parents and a son, Scott Fitch.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Fitch and wife Amy, Andale, and Brad Fitch and wife Trace, Augusta; two sisters, Darlene “Dee” Bergquist and Irene Fedun, both in Minnesota; and three granddaughters, Maddison and Maloree Fitch, Andale, and Trinity Fitch, Augusta.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
