Wayne Steinebach 1959-2015

 

Wayne K. Steinebach, 55, Hoyt, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at his home.

He was born Nov. 8, 1959, in Rome, N.Y. He attended vocational technical school and received cer­tificates in welding, electronics and auto mechanics.

Mr. Steinebach had worked as an auto electrician for Gosser’s Auto Electric and later as an electronics technician for Avondale’s, both in Topeka.

He was a member of the Topeka Coin Club.

He married Cindy Jackson on May 1, 1981 in Miami, Okla. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Abraham Steinebach and wife Me­gan, Hoyt; a daughter, Nikki Steinebach-Warren and husband Dan, Meriden; several siblings, in­cluding Debbie Steinebach, Jay Steinebach and Todd Steinebach, all of Topeka; a grandson, Kyler Steinebach; three stepgrandchil­dren; two foster grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24 at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Burial will follow in Hoyt Cemetery. Mr. Steinebach will lie in state after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where family and friends will meet from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
