Tyler Kraft 1983-2017
Tyler Thomas Kraft, 34, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017.
Tyler was born April 30, 1983, in Burlington, the oldest of two sons of Thomas Arnold and Mary Sue (Russell) Kraft. He grew up in Gridley and graduated from Gridley High School in 2001. He was active in sports during his school years. Following high school he attended Butler County Community College.
He was a partner with his family in Kraft Oil Company and also in the family cattle and farming business.
On January 21, 2012, he and Michelle Lee Luck were married at the Burlington Christian Church.
Tyler was a member of the Radiant Life Church in New Strawn.
He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and Fantasy Football player. But the time he enjoyed the most was that spent with his family. He loved attending his children’s activities and just spending time with them and Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arnold Kraft.
He leaves his wife, Michelle; his children, Landon, Alexandra, and Maverick Kraft, all of the home; his parents, Tom and Mary Sue Kraft, Gridley; his brother, Justin Kraft and his wife Kelsey, Burlington; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Kraft, Gridley; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Mary Russell, Burlington; nieces and nephews Ryker Kraft, Madison and Maisie Luck, and Augustus Mettler; his mother-in-law, Debbie Mumert, Topeka; his father-in-law, Mike Luck, Holton; Michelle’s grandfather, Eddie Howerton, Topeka; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15 at the Radiant Life Church in New Strawn. Burial will follow in Gridley Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington.
