Travis Smith 1972-2016

Victor “Travis” Smith, 44, Mus­cotah, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at his home.

He was born March 30, 1972, in Kansas City, the son of Christopher Callahan and Joyce Beach.

Mr. Smith worked as a cabinet maker and painter.

Survivors include his grandfa­ther, Gene Beach, Muscotah; his grandmother, Helen Callahan, Kan­sas City; two sons, Nathan Smith, Effingham, and Donavon Smith, Kansas City; a daughter, Lilly Zach, Rock Creek; two sisters, Melissa Razo, Atchison, and Arlie Schmitter, Topeka; two brothers, Dylan Smith and Lennon Barber, both of Muscotah; 10 nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews.

Memorial services were held Saturday, May 7 at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton.
