Tim Dyer 1979-2021

Timothy “Tim” Joseph Dyer, 42, Topeka, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

He was born Oct. 2, 1979, the son of Timothy Dyer and Sheila Ann Martinez Fitzgerald. He attended Washburn Rural High School and later earned his GED.

Mr. Dyer worked at various jobs.

He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Survivors include his uncle, Manuel Martinez; aunt, Laura Thackery; and his cousins, Clinton and Heather Thacker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Dyer; his mother and adopted father, Sheila and Michael Clarire Fitzgerald; a brother, Michael Christopher Fitzgerald; and grandparents, Zelda and Logie Martinez.

Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date at Shipshee Cemetery in Mayetta. Mercer Funeral Home, 1101 W. Fourth Street/P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436 is charge of arrangements.
