Shirley Applegarth 1935-2020

Shirley Jean Applegarth, 85, retired school teacher, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.

Visitation with family will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at Broadway Mortuary and graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Kensington Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Donald Applegarth; and her sister, Janis Sapp.

Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly (Najah) Amin of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Julie (David) Sutton of Wichita; brothers, Jon (Priscilla) Sapp and Gregg (Cheryl) Sapp; stepchildren Robert Applegarth, Susan Lewis and Deborah Babin; and grandchildren, Kamaran Amin, Lana Amin, Andrew Sutton, Steven Sutton and Jordan Sutton.
