Ryan Diehl 1987-2021

Ryan Matthew Diehl, 33, of Goff, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

He was born Oct. 14, 1987 in Holton, the son of Matthew Thomas and Joyce Kenette (Nott) Diehl. 

Ryan attended Wetmore and Holton schools; he earned his GED in Topeka. He most recently worked for Kirk’s Body Shop and previously at Hammersmith and SKF in Seneca. 

Survivors include his companion, Susan J. Beecham, of the home; a son, Jaxson Diehl, of the home; two stepchildren, Matthew Skidmore of Topeka and Kinsey Beecham of Meriden; parents, Matt and Joyce Diehl of Wetmore; two sisters, Katie Galvez (Rene) of Topeka and Kimberly Diehl (Pat Brown) of Wetmore; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Nott of Holton; paternal grandparents, Dan Diehl of Seneca and Janet Diehl of Topeka; two nieces, Nataleigh and Ellie; a nephew, Braxton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Nott. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 3 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family strongly urges casual dress and/or Chiefs attire. Burial will follow in Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
