Ronnie Chrisman 1942-2015

 

Ronald G. “Ronnie” Chrisman, 73, Topeka, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

He was born Jan. 11, 1942 in Holton, the son of Robert and Marjorie Johnson Chrisman.

Mr. Chrisman had been a resi­dent of KNI in Topeka, where he worked as “the pop machine guy,” for several years.

Survivors include a sister, Deb­bie White, Topeka; three nieces, Kim Tegethoff and husband Teg, Holton, Kassy Bottenberg, Topeka, and Kari Bottenberg, Holton; two nephews, Brad White and Bryan White, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; and great-nieces and nephews, Justin Brock and wife Ashley, Janelle Fannin and husband Brad, Robert Riley, Jo Ann Akers and Krista Akers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Bottenberg.

Celebration of life services will be held Thursday at KNI in Topeka, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a short service at approximately 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Holton Cemetery. Mr. Chrisman will lie in state Wednesday at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton.
