Ron Moore 1933-2016
Ronald D. Moore, 82, left us to be with our Lord on Sept. 11, 2016, at Medicalodges in Holton.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas on Sept. 22, 1933, the son of Vivian and Donald Moore. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1950, and enlisted and served four years in the Naval Reserve.
Ron married Donna (Francis) Moore in 1985. She survives.
He was a pharmaceutical salesman, owned Vawters Sales and also worked for Prairie Band Casino for nine years. Ron was a member of Christ's Church in Holton, where he served as an elder for 13 years.
Ron is survived by one son, Richard Moore (Billie) of Wichita; four stepchildren, Charles, Tracy, Melissa and Erik Francis, all of Topeka; four wonderful grandchildren, Callie Moore, Riley Moore and Remmington Moore, all of Wichita, and Caydee Pot of Colorado; four amazing stepgrandchildren, Jace Friend, Chris Friend, Hailey Gottschalk and Jordan Gottschalk, all of Topeka; and a beautiful great-grandchild, Finn Alexander Moore.
Ron was cremated. A private service will be held.
