Robert Booher 1936-2016

 

Robert E. Booher, 79, Holton, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016. at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

He was born May 17, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisc., the son of Louis Booher Sr. and Eunice Lamoine Booher.

Mr. Booher was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He later worked as an overnight supervisor at the former Oldham’s Sausage Plant in Holton.

He married Juanita Chamness. They divorced. He married Carol Ann MacKintosh on April 17, 1981, in Manhattan. She died March 11, 2007. He also was pre­ceded in death by a daughter, Deb­bie Jo Booher; a brother; and a sis­ter, Caroline Booher.

Survivors include a son, Dale Booher, Las Vegas, Nev.; three daughters, Laura Ann Booher, Ma­nassas, Va.,, Dorothy Ann Booher, Cudahy, Wisc., and Yvonne Chamness and husband Nhak R. Yin, Holton; a brother, Louis Boo­her Jr., Germantown, Wisc.; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grand­children.

Cremation is planned. Per Mr. Booher’s request, no services will be held.
