Rebecca Riederer 1954-2016
Rebecca Riederer passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at her Topeka home, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Nov. 5, 1954, in Holton, the daughter of Robert and Ramona Smith Riederer.
Rebecca attended Holton schools and received her BA and MBA from Washburn University. She most recently worked for CBIZ MHM, LLC and previously for Newbery and Ungerer, both in Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ramona Riederer.
She is survived by her brother, Russell Riederer (Mary Ann); her sister, Roberta Mariani (Richard); and seven nieces and nephews; Morgan, Annie, Rob and Jake Riederer and Andy, Jonathan and Michael Mariani. She enjoyed spending time with and was a special aunt to her nieces and nephews who adored her and appreciated all the help she provided to them.
Funeral services for Rebecca were held Monday, March 7, 2016, at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment was held in Holton Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riederer Memorial Scholar Athlete Scholarship for a student at Holton High School and Topeka West High School c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
