Rebecca Crismas 1978-2016
Rebecca Lynn Crismas, 37, Wetmore, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, as a result of a traffic accident.
She was born Aug. 13, 1978, in Yuba City, Calif., the daughter of David and BobbyJean (McLennan) Smith. She graduated in 1996 from Marysville High School in Marysville, Calif., and attended Fleet Training School in San Diego, Calif., from 1997 to 1998.
Mrs. Crismas served in the U.S. Navy as a sonar tech from 1997 to 2002. She was presently a homemaker. She had lived in the Wetmore community for five years and previously lived in Holton and Norfolk, Va.
She was a former member of Wave Church in Norfolk, Va., and First Baptist Church in Holton. She was currently a member of Wetmore Bible Church in Wetmore.
She married Aaron Clarence Crismas on Aug. 11, 1999, in Norfolk, Va. He survives.
Other survivors include her seven children, Myrna, Alvana, Juliana, Malinda, Jonas, Joshua and Jebidiah, all of the home; her mother, BobbyJean McLennan-Smith, Topeka; her stepmother, Margie Smith, in California; father and mother-in-law, Ted and Sylvia Wilson, Wetmore; a sister, Sarah Smith, Houston, Texas; and two brothers, Jonathan Smith, Fallon, Nev., and Chad Smith, Woodland, Calif. She was preceded in death by three infants and her father, David Smith.
Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Holton. Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
