Quentin Moeder 1977-2018

Quentin J. Moeder, 41, Topeka, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at a residence near Hoyt.

He was born, Aug. 10, 1977, at Lawrence, the son of Robert and Leona Turner Moeder. He earned a GED after being homeschooled.

Mr. Moeder had worked as a mechanic for ARC Transport at Topeka for 25 years.

He married Dawn Chilson on June 1, 2002, at McPherson. She survives.

Other survivors include his parents, Robert and Leona Moeder, Topeka; and a brother, Rob Moeder and wife Jenny, Greenville, S.C.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at Calvary Baptist Church in Valley Falls. Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Hoyt Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
