Pamela Pfannenstiel 1954-2022

Pamela Bell Pfannenstiel, 67, of Garland, Texas, formerly of Valley Falls, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at her home with family by her side.

She was born Aug. 30, 1954, in Atchison, the daughter of James Donald and Frances Eugene (Pennington) Boyce.

Pam graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1972. She was an ATT Coordinator, delivering parts internationally, at Ericsson for 15 years.

She married William Thomas “Bill” Pfannenstiel on April 26, 1975, in Topeka. They celebrated more than 47 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, of the home; two brothers, Frank E. Boyce in Atchison County and Raymond E. Boyce of Holton; and a sister-in-law, Susan Pfannenstiel of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Frances Boyce; a brother, Jim Boyce; and a sister, Donna M. Johnston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will follow in Valley Falls Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
