Pam Burnett 1954-2015

 

Pamela Rae “Pam” Burnett, 61, Holton, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at her home after battling cancer.

She was born March 28, 1954, in Hiawatha, the daughter of Vernon J. “Pete” and Mary Jean Gibbs Burnett. She graduated from Holton High School in 1972.

Ms. Burnett was a cook and dishwasher for A&W and Trails Cafe after high school. For 32 years, she was a bus driver for USD 336 and had also worked for Ca­sey’s since 1987.

She was baptized at First Chris­tian Church.

She married Richard Carnoali. They divorced.

Survivors include three sisters, Nancy Wessel and husband Leo, Goff, and Jeanne Burnett and Belinda Cashman, both of Holton; two nephews, Shannon McQueen and Shane Burnett; and four nieces, Crystal Douglas, Becky Wessel, Paula Pedersen and Marsha Ether­ton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Burnett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
