Lisa Parker 1966-2018

Lisa Ann McLaughlin Parker, 52, Holton, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at her home from complications with epilepsy.

She was born Oct. 1, 1966, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Elton and Sharon Bryant McLaughlin. She graduated from Centralia High School and later received her associate’s degree in applied science and business administration from Everest College in Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. Parker worked for her family restaurant in Centralia as a cook, waitress and cashier. She later worked for 3 Rivers Inc., as an independent living skills trainer until retiring due to declining health.

She married Steve Honeyman. They divorced. She married Joel P. Parker on April 19, 2015, in Holton. He survives.

Other survivors include her father, Elton McLaughlin, Fairview, Mo.; two sons, Cody Honeyman, Kansas City, Mo., and Nicholas Honeyman, Seneca; two stepdaughters, Lindsay Collins and Megan Parker, both of Tazewell, Tenn.; a stepson, James Parker, Tazewell, Tenn; two brothers, Jason Johnson and wife Cheryl, Wetmore, and Jim Johnson, Tulsa, Okla.; and four stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon McLaughlin; and a brother, Johnny Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
